The Texas Department of Insurance has issued Commissioner’s Bulletin # B-0025-16 regarding an annual data call to assess the market condition.
The data call is mandatory for all insurers writing the following lines of insurance: private passenger nonfleet automobile, homeowners multiple peril, workers’ compensation, commercial fire and allied lines, commercial multiple peril, general liability, boiler and machinery, commercial crime, commercial glass, medical professional liability, and miscellaneous professional liability. Insurance companies must respond to the requirements of the bulletin no later than February 10, 2017. Additional information and reporting instructions can be found on the Department’s website here.
